Did
you know?
Dr.
Yentz says that for most kids, the needles are the scariest part
of getting a cavity drilled. But the pain lasts only a few seconds,
and protects you so you don’t feel any of the drilling. Consider
yourself lucky. For centuries the only way to treat a cavity was
to pull the tooth out. In the 1200s, barbers worked as dentists,
and you could get a haircut and a tooth pulled in the same visit.
